The task is to "Set up your HTML document with the <!doctype> and <html> tags.", and when I wrote my answer "<!DOCTYPE html> ... </html>" I keep getting error when I checked my work. Is there something else that I needed to do that I didn't?

8,799 PointsThe doctype tag is different from the HTML tag. It is just declaring what type of document it is. Therefore you will need an opening HTML tag after the doctype.
