Showcase Your Creativity Contest Entries & Winner!

To celebrate Spring and Easter, we asked members to showcase their creativity for a chance to win an iPad mini, or a six month Gold Treehouse subscription. Our panel of Treehouse teachers have since reviewed all of the entries, and were blown away by all the great projects we received, so thank you again to all of the contestants!

The first place prize goes to Andrew Deniszczyc for his fun and creative live online Easter egg hunt. Congratulations Andrew! :)

The two runner ups are Gavin Anthony and Marius Serban, with their awesome designs, great work guys!

All of the entries were so fantastic, we wanted to share them all with the community, so you can check them out below (listed in no particular order).

Andrew Schumacher (submitted website files), Thomas Horner, Derrick Mull, Alnoor Pirani, Keegan Krantz, Kevin Kendle, Matt Quirk, Galen Gidman, Ryan Krienitz, Ricky Eckhardt.

Stay tuned this month for another Treehouse contest, and as always we can’t wait to see what you’ll all bring to the Web next time! :)

"You collected 6 and is the WINNER!" I love it!!!! A winner is Andrew Deniszczyc.

PLEASE tell me about the next one. Maybe send all users a new special "Notification"? :-)

Congratulations to all who entered, and thank you Treehouse for having cool contests like these.

What's the limit on the number of contests a user can win?

I would love to know in which programming lang. is that website made.

Thanks Treehouse for the amazing competition and thanks for the kind words! :D

Charles: Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Ajinkya: Thanks! The website was made mostly using HTML/Javascript, with the use of the Pusher API (http://pusher.com/) for the realtime aspect and Google Maps API (https://developers.google.com/maps/) for the maps. I also used PHP to create the game boards/egg positions. :)

oh great :)
