Signs such as @ and <> can't be written in workspace.

Hello there, I'm trying to learn PHP with workspace. When I try to write signs such as @ or <> I can't. After I input the commant "composer init" all works fine, but then I have to enter my e-mail and stuff and I can't move forward because I can't write the signs I'm supposed to type.

That IS weird. I've been using workspaces for about a year now and I've never had any problems like that. It sounds a lot like a keyboard malfunction. Someetimes the number lock or symbol lock can do weird things like that, but I've never known there to be a similar problem because of a malfunction with workspaces. Good luck! Worst comes to worst, You can download the free version of sublime text and use that for all the lessons. PHP storm is an even better text editor, but it's only free for 30 days.

I tried this on several other PC's with different keyboards and stil, when I'm in my console window I just can't add signs normaly, nor can I paste a character. If I click Alt + V = @ sign should appear.. I just can't use it .. neither for the < > signs or any other. please help.

@Alex Mužinic same thing happening here... I can use <> but no @. Alt+V just gives me ^ or ^V^ . Getting frustrated by these giggling smileys. Did you find a solution? Thanks!
