Hello Engr,

The first task in the challenge asks you to "add a class called "social-links" to each anchor tag".

So they want you to literally add a class called "social-links" to the two existing anchor tags. Like this...

<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>List Example</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  </head>
  <body>

    <a class="social-links" href="#">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
    <a class="social-links" href="#">Send me an Email!</a>

  </body>
</html>

I hope this helps. Sometimes I also go down the rabbit hole of thinking they want you to do something much more complicated in the challenge tasks. So I find you have to take the instructions very literally. Don't over think them. 🙂

Happy Coding! Heidi

thanks
