Hi there,

In this exercise, since console has already been imported and initialized, there's no need to declare it. Response can be declared inside the loop, and will equal the user's response to "Do you understand do while loops?" While response equals (ignoring case) "no", the loop will continue.

// Console console = System.console();  <-- don't need this
// String response; <-- this can be declared inside the do-while loop
// boolean answer;  <-- this isn't necessary

do {
   String response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops? ");
} while (response.equalsIgnoreCase("no");

console.printf("Because you said %s, you passed the test!", response);

Hope that helps.
