Heya! The challenge is asking for you to target the span and you are only targeting .intro . Try using a selector like:

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}

This way you target the span inside of the paragraph element with the class .intro

Task 1: On line 14, you didn't set the class name properly. You need to use either double quotes or single quotes on the value. But the task will let you pass, for some reason which it shouldn't.

Task 2: Select a new rule on for the intro which you've already done, well done:

.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
}

Task 3: Give the intro class a new property - line-height and the value of 1.6. The value should be unitless, so please remove the em unit on 1.6.

.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6;
}

Task 4: Like Tray wrote, create a new rule for the span element inside the intro class by using te descendant selector and give the appropriate properties and values to it. By the way, you use the font-style: italic; to make the text italic, not font-family.

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}
