Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 34,662 PointsHi Pawan,
First off, very clever solution. Most students return number * number, but youâre using the exponent operator. Bravo!
The reason you arenât passing the second part of the challenge is because the challenge asks you to pass in the number 3 as the argument to the square function, but youâre passing in the number 2.
Correct that and you should be good to go.
Youâre also passing result into the print function. I donât think that would cause your code to not run, but the challenge doesnât ask you to do that. Iâd note that you want to be careful about adding unnecessary code to the challenges. A lot of the time it wonât make a difference, but every once in a while the test code thatâs used to evaluate user code isnât equipped to deal with the extra/nonessential code and it sends back funky error messages (and youâll end up spending way more time than you should trying to figure out why you got a TypeError or some other seemingly random error).
