Do I just do .float (2, 2) after the brackets?

trial.py 
def add(num1, num2):
      return (num1 + num2)

Hey Jamie, we are converting them to floats using the function float, if it were a method you would use a . thing. Here's my code: (sorry for bad formatting)

def add(num1, num2):
  return float(num1) + float(num2)

I'm in an office using a keyboard that LITERALLY doesn't have one, but thank you :P!

Keyboard is an old American layout apple made one in the UK running on a 5 year old mac, I literally tried every key..

You need to use float() on each of the arguments:

return float(num1) + float(num2)
