Do I just do .float (2, 2) after the brackets?

Hey Jamie, we are converting them to floats using the function float, if it were a method you would use a . thing. Here's my code: (sorry for bad formatting)

def add(num1, num2):
  return float(num1) + float(num2)

Don't have a backtick on this keyboard.... Irritating..

I'm in an office using a keyboard that LITERALLY doesn't have one, but thank you :P!

Keyboard is an old American layout apple made one in the UK running on a 5 year old mac, I literally tried every key..

The link also shows alt codes if you have a numpad. That's mainly why I linked it.

I am assuming this is for Task 2.

You need to use float() on each of the arguments:

return float(num1) + float(num2)
