Stuck on Challenge 2

not sure what the next step is here. I thought I was breaking out of the loop.

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item == "STOP":
            break
        else:
            print(items)

What are you inputing for test data?

What is the results?

What are you expecting (as results)?

Hi Kevin, You are so, so close. Hint -- print each thing(item) in items.

I would assume your code works because it does exactly what the challenge asks for, you don't need the else though and I believe that's where your issue lies in terms of passing the challenge.

This works for me

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item == "STOP":
            break
        print(item)
