Hi, I don't remember what this challenge is about, but as far as I can see your code has closing 'section' and 'footer' tags (with no opening ones).

Just use the section tag between the header and the footer tag

 <section>
    <h1>My Web Design &amp; Development Portfolio!</h1>
    <p>A site featuring my latest work.</p>
    <h2>Welcome</h2>
    <p>Fusce semper id ipsum sed scelerisque. Etiam nec elementum massa. Pellentesque tristique ex ac ipsum hendrerit, eget feugiat ante faucibus.</p>

      <li><a href="#">Recent project #2</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Recent project #3</a></li>
    </ul>
    </section>
