CSS How to Make a Website Styling Web Pages and Navigation Style the Portfolio

Style the Portfolio help, not matching video results

I thought I was doing everything correct till now but after entering the new css code my site only has one column instead of 2, and images take 100% of the space to fit in window.

I have had a similar problem and it was my syntax that was wrong. Instead of id="" I had id:"". It was driving me crazy and after over one hour looking for the mistake I finally got it.

Did you ID the unorder list on the html file with the name "gallery"?

I did. Printed both my work and the download files, to compare and can't see the difference. Other then forgetting to close tag head. It didn't fix it. As quick fix to keep going I just used the download file and is now working. But still don't see why my code didn't work, they look a like other then some spacing differences. This was the first time I hit wall and couldn't see the answer.
