Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String concatenation

subject="Treehouse loves"+name Could you please tell the mistake in it

String concatenation

I did according to the procedure. But I receive an error message. Could anybody help with this?

strings.py
name="Rebecca"
subject="Treehouse loves"+name

Rebekkal, you are very close.

updated

You just need a space on either side of both the = signs and the + sign. Also, y You will need a space after the word 'loves' and before your name.

Kourosh Raeen yeah you are right about those not being required syntactically. I updated my comment.

Hi Zach - Actually, those spaces are not required and are just good practice for code readability, but they wouldn't affect this code challenge.

Yes, U all are right. Thank you for helping!!

:bulb: Here's a hint: Currently, your subject will contain the string "Treehouse lovesRebecca" instead of "Treehouse loves Rebecca" :smiley:

Thank you Jennifer
