Subscriptions on a website

Hi There

I got a question. Do you think it's better to terminate a subscription automaticly when it comes to an end or should it renew it's self.

If it's renewed automaticly, should there be a notificaion prior to the renewal or should the customer be notified after renewal.

Your thoughts are well appriciated.

It depends. If it is a multi-month subscription, then it is nice to know that I am about to run out of service. Since buying in a chunk like that is usually a larger purchase I would say no to auto pay on those types of subscriptions.

However, If it is monthly, then I appreciate an email payment receipt for that months subscription.
