Definitely a Macbook especially because these videos are based on Unix systems (which OS X is but Microsoft is not). I have a MacBook at home (The thin one that they never named) and use an air at school and both work pretty well. However I will say I am sure the pro (especially the new one) can hold a lot more in it. If you are going to use the computer ONLY for programming then go for something cheaper then a pro (since apple computers are so expensive) if you also want to do school, gaming, design or work related things on the computer then a pro is probably the best option. I hope this helps!

Also, number 5 you said pursue your career in "tech" if you also mean hardware it might be worth looking into getting computer parts and building your own computer. Takes a lot of work but great experience and I've heard a lot of people happy with the results (The parts are also cheaper then the computer, a really nice computer can be built for cheaper then bought). How to do it or even where to get the parts are way outside of my knowledge but I'm sure google is a great place to start. Tons of people like building computers. If you do decide to build you own, consider using Linux instead of Microsoft since most programming and consoles are taught in Linux.

I appreciate the answer.

I'd like you to point out the pros and cons of using "Mac Mini". and if one is suitable for me, then please do let me know the model name. thanks... And one other thing Kaufman, maybe I won't be able to do IOS development if don't buy a mac..That's why I need to buy one. But trust me I strongly believe that your advice is the best one.. but still my hands are tied.

I'm sorry I'm confused... why are your hands tied?

Because if I really want to go for IOS development, then I must get a mac.. and nothing else will do.. (Maybe a Hackintosh can work, but still it's not very reliable.) That's why my hands are tied. Should've cleared it up in the first place, sorry.

But with a Mac you can program practically everything else, so it makes sense to get a Mac.
