tables are not restored

Hello,

when I try to import my sql database .. the database is restored quite well with the new name treehouse_movie_db_clone. Nevertheless the tables are not restored although I selected them all when I exported the database in the beginning.

Take care to ensure that "Dump Structure and Data" is selected down the bottom. You may have "Dump Structure Only" selected. That could cause what you are experiencing.

Another thing to do is confirm that your export actually contains the data. Take a look at the sql file in a text editor and make sure it contains the big long INSERT INTO lines for each table, which is the actual contents of the table. If they are missing do the dump again and make sure "Dump Structure and Data" is selected.

Hopefully one of these things will fix your problem. :)
