Techdegree collaboration

I'm wondering before trying out the Treehouse techdegree is that do we have the chance to actually collaborate with out during the projects doing the techdegree? Since this is a huge part of the real work we can expect to actually collaborate and discuss with others the approach and find the solutions together.

Hi Peter, I am new to the game and have been working on the Techdegree for Python. In that program, I was invited to join a slack channel and I think that is one of the intended spaces for collaboration. I can see from the comments conversations that are going on. Also I use the Community messages to find out things. It is common that someone has already posted the issue I am stuck on. I do feel I get the answers I need and that there is collaboration available. However, it does not seem like people getting together because they are in a cohort and actually working on something and discussing it in real time. Some of the projects on the slack channel may get like that if you are working on something at the same time as someone else.

Thanks Frank for the quick answer! My question was more oriented in terms of collaboration into if students are working on the same repo sometimes in the same cohort learning the correct git flow and sometimes having conflicts, etc? Or maybe people from different tracks can create something like a Python web developer with a Front-end developer?
