Techdegree feature questions

I am considering whether or not to sign up for a Techdegree and I wanted to find out the differences in the 199 and 399+ levels.

The 399+ level indicates that your projects will be reviewed by a professional and that you will have 1-on-1 mentor sessions. Who are the "professionals" who will be reviewing the projects and who are the mentors? Are they internal Treehouse employees (e.g. would Craig Dennis be reviewing the work and/or mentoring for the Java TD) or are they external "contractors"? How many mentor sessions do you receive each month and how long are these sessions?

Thanks for any assistance in answering these questions.

Hey Ted!

Great questions! The mentors are professional developers that we've hired specifically for our Techdegree program to do the reviews for our Premium plans. You would have 2 half-hour mentor sessions per month, and they can be scheduled through the Home page on your account once you switch over to the Techdegree plan.

We hope this information helps! Please do let us know if you have any further questions :)

Best, Kara
