Tell me about your workflow / routine / schedule

So here's the thing, I've been using Treehouse for a long time now but what I've found quite difficult is setting myself a routine. I currently work as a Graphic Designer in my local college but I'm trying to retrain myself into web design / development role. However, I'm really struggling to stick to a constant work routine and I was wondering if anyone is in a similar position and can share some ideas.

My other issue is that I can watch all the Treehouse videos and copy all of the code but I don't seem to have what I would call 'working knowledge' of the code that I am writing. What are people's thoughts on this? Do you have any live projects that you work on whilst you are studying with Treehouse?

I'd love to hear from some of you guys and gals.

Hey Matt, I am working full-time in a hotel, 7:00-15:30 every day. I get home and after some rest, I am coding/watching videos. Sometimes I am just too tired, but I have made a rule for myself, that I can't study less than 1 hour a day. And you are right, mostly we get passive knowledge here. Doing own projects, and looking up some challenges on the internet actually might help quite a lot :)

Hey Máté,

Do you have any good links to code challenges that are useful to top up on your skills? It is very passive knowledge and I feel that my learning style very much requires real work scenarios to help embed that knowledge. :)
