I keep having an error.

        GoKart kart = new GoKart("yellow");
        if (kart.isBatteryEmpty()) {
          System.out.println("The battery is empty");
        }
        kart.drive(2);
      try {
        kart.load(45);
        System.out.println("This cant happen");
      } catch (IllegalArgumentException iae) {
        System.out.println ("Whoa there");
        System.out.printf ("There was an error");
    }
}

The try block needs to go around the original drive() statement in the code:

try {
    kart.drive(2);
} catch // etc. ...
