The code works its just not presented the right way...

my code works on:

https://www.programiz.com/python-programming/online-compiler/

I've no idea why it doesn't work here, Drives me crazy when it does this.

maps.py
backwards = [
    'tac',
    'esuoheerT',
    'htenneK',
    [5, 4, 3, 2, 1],
]
def reverse(test_list):
    res = [i[::-1] for i in test_list]
    return res

Hey there diginoma!

The answer is a bit more simple for this question. To reverse an iterable item passed into the reverse function, you can simply return the item[::1].

So the function would look something like this:

def reverse(item):
    return item[::-1]

Hope this helps!

Thanks!
