The first index value of any array is always  0 .

All programming languages (to my knowledge) start counting from 0 with arrays and similar structures.

Actually, languages with a math focus generally start indexes at 1. Examples would include: FORTRAN, SASL, MATLAB, Julia, Mathematica, Smalltalk, Lua, Erlang, and APL.

But the answer for C# is definitely 0.
