The "PAUSING of Enrollments" is confusing to me. Can anyone make it clear?

Say, I'm on a basic yearly enrollment plan and after a few months of enrollment, I get busy for my exams or something like that. Then maybe I won't be able to browse any content on Treehouse (let's say for 'a month'). Then, will my membership be extended for that one month, if I keep it paused during my exams?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong: You paid for a year, you get 365 days from the date you paid. With the yearly enrollment I don't believe it will get paused, I do not think you get the paused days added to the end of your current enrollment time.

Pausing is intended for month-to-month/techdegree payments where we can pause for a month or two if needed and resume where we left off.
