Tips for getting listed on dribbble

Hi everyone!

I'm eager to be part of the dribbble community and share my design accomplishments as I work on new projects.

Any tips for getting invited to post content?

Would absolutely love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or advice.

Many thanks!

Sara

Doing great work always helps! Your work is just that. I went ahead and drafted you. Excited to see more.

You have to be patient and have a look out for people with a bunch of invites. They always ask you to link them your portfolio, and after I saw yours - you should have no problem at all getting one!

Ninja edit!

I made an super quick google search - https://dribbble.com/shots/1889505-4-Dribbble-invites?list=tags&tag=invite&offset=0

Good luck! Let me know if you win one :)

Well whatever you did worked because it looks like you got an invite, well done. You have a new follower btw :)

I personally asked somebody if they had a spare invite and was lucky enough to get one that way. I've seen people advertise that they have a few invites on places the graphic design and design subreddits as well as designer news so it might be worth checking those places from time to time.

Here's my Dribbble profile and I'm not even that good

When I get some invites I'll come back here and hook some of you guys up.

Don't sell yourself short, Marcus!

You've got a new follower who is quite a fan of your work :)

Love the support all around, guys. Once I have some invites, I'll definitely be scouting from Treehouse as well.

Thanks Sara, every positive comment I receive goes towards killing off my imposter syndrome :)

I need to take a leaf out of you book and get going on the coding side, I started learning HTML/CSS for about 1 month but have spent the last 6 months learning how to design from scratch so it's time I got back on the horse so to speak.

How long have you been doing web design?
