263 PointsTreehouse Instructor feedback needed on PHP track issues
In follow-up to the unanswered question from yesterday, this is also part of the same issue with the PHP track. Can someone on the instructional team please respond so I can help a group of our current students?
In the PHP development track, the "PHP databases & PDO" module recommends you complete the object oriented php module first, but linearly this is listed at the end of the course.
It is noted and there is a link to the module on the course page, but this could be confusing for some, especially with the recent update removing the "Building simple websites in PHP" and "Enhancing websites with PHP" modules.
These modules were previously listed proceeding the object oriented design module, but with the recent update these two modules have been extracted from the course and replaced with a condensed one that assumes the reader already knows PHP to begin with. They are still available in the library, but again this can be confusing for newcomers.
