12,707 PointsTrouble selecting <nav><a> using document.getElementsByTagName
I am trying to select links<a> that are inside of <li> that is inside of <ul> that is inside of <nav>. I have tried ; let navLinks = document.getElementsByTagName('a')[1,2,3]; and document.querySelectorAll('a')[1,2,3] but my challenge is telling me that this is wrong. Oh by the way the 3 links that I am trying to get are 2nd, 3rd and 4th links in the HTML.
let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll("a")[1,2,3];

231,271 PointsYou probably want to use querySelectorAll.
You can't subscript using more than one index at a time, and assuming the exact indexes would make for very brittle code.
By using querySelectorAll you can have a descendant selector which will pick exactly the elements you want without using index numbers.
