Hey all!
I created a new database and attempted to install WP but it continuously says that it cannot connect to the database. I currently have another WP installation on the server with a different database...could that be causing this to happen?
Ideally I would like to have multiple WP sites on the local server.
Thanks!

If you're using phpmyadmin - Go to databases > find the new database name > click 'check privileges' and see if the user you are trying to connect to the database with is assigned.
