try catch exercise not working, any help?

public class Main { public static void main(String[] args) { GoKart kart = new GoKart("yellow"); if (kart.isBatteryEmpty()) { System.out.println("The battery is empty"); } try { kart.drive(2); } catch (IllegalArgumentException ex) { System.out.println("The error message was %s/n", ex.getMessage()); } } }

In your code you are using System.out.println instead System.out.printf in the catch that's the problem. i try this and work.

try{
    kart.drive(2);
} catch(IllegalArgumentException e) {
    System.out.println("The error message was " + e.getMessage());
}
