.intro span {

  line-height: 1.6;

  font-style: italic;
}

wasn't able to post full details of the question above, so: Q - "Create a new rule that targets the span element inside .intro. Give the span element a bold font weight and an italic font style." it's definitely the ".intro span {" line that's wrong supposedly, since that's the one that if I change, I get a new error each time, BUT I can't see anything wrong with what I have here, and I've asked other friends who code and they can't, either. :^(

You are almost there!!

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.intro {
font-size: 1.25em;
line-height: 1.6;
}
.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
  }
a:link {
   text-decoration: none;
}

AH no wonder, somehow I missed the "new rule" part!! Thanks so much for the help, who knows how long I still woulda been stuck on that!
