Updated android tutorial?

Is there gonna be an update on the beginner android tutorial? Because the Android tutorial on treehouse is from 5.1 lollipop (which was released in February 2015!) and Android Studio v1.5!

Have you tried the current tutorial/video?? Although the Android Studio version updates, the tutorial is based on the Android version. Choosing 5.1 Lollipop at project creation has no effect on the newer Android versions, as all versions greater than 5.1 are backwards compatible. The only thing a new tutorial would cover is the new features of a newer Android version..
