I noticed that the only laravel course here at treehouse is the laravel 4 course. Since laravel 4.2 is launched 3 years ago I think the course should be updated to work with laravel 5.x.
Reading through the internet I saw there where a lot differences comparing the two. The basics are probably the same for about 95% or so (I'm no expert) but I think as a developer you should be learning the newest technologies. And since laravel 4 is kind of outdated it would be a great idea to create a course about laravel 5.
I'd like to hear some thoughts of you guys why this should or shouldn't be done. :)

23,559 PointsI was actually surprised there wasn't more Laravel-related content here, but I would agree that it should be updated. There have been significant improvements, and quite a few differences, that would make the outdated material a bit confusing at points, especially when there are some differences in the various 5.x versions themselves. Even though the basic ideas are still the same, as a learning institute, I think Treehouse should definitely work a bit more on keeping content relevant and current. On a personal note, I would love to see an entire course devoted to a project-centered Laravel experience. I'm still pretty fresh to Laravel, so I can attest to the lack of quality material for 5.x, but it's been fun to tinker with anyway.
