Using console.realine how to get the input of two variables?

I am stuck at this point. I am asked to take input of two variables in one statement. How to do that?

Multiple.java 
// I've imported java.io.Console for you.  It is stored in a variable called console for you.
String name = console.readLine("Enter your name:  ");
String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("Enter the pastTenseVerb:  ");

Hey Amit,

You just need to use the "printf" command to output those two variables. Each %s placeholder that the compiler encounters gets replaced by the corresponding variable in the argument list after the string. So, the 1st %s gets replaced by name (which is the first variable we list) and the 2nd %s gets replaced by pastTenseVerb (the second variable we list). 

// I've imported java.io.Console for you.  It is stored in a variable called console for you.
String name = console.readLine("Enter your name:  ");
String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("Enter the pastTenseVerb:  ");
console.printf("%s really %s this coding exercise.", name, pastTenseVerb);
