using super()?

I pass this challenge, but I was trying to figure a way to pass it with super().__init__ but I couldnt find the way

boards.py
class Board:
    def __init__(self, width, height):
        self.width = width
        self.height = height
        self.cells = []
        for y in range(self.height):
            for x in range(self.width):
                self.cells.append((x, y))
class TicTacToe(Board):
    def __init__(self, width=3 ,height=3):
        self.width = width
        self.height = height
        self.cells = []
        for y in range(self.height):
            for x in range(self.width):
                self.cells.append((x, y))

Since TicTacToe is the same code as Board but with default parameters defined, TicTacToe can be reduced to:

class TicTacToe(Board):
    def __init__(self, width=3 ,height=3):
        super().__init__( width=width ,height=height )

but inside the super().__init__ it doesnt require a self?

self is not used on the method call. It is only used in the method definition.
