I don't understand why we supplemented the Equals with GetHashCode. Wasn't Equals perfect for or purpose here?

If the hashcode is the memory address by default how can it also possibly *not* be unique?

How come the Int32.GetHashCode() would return its value for integers? I would expect them to return the memory address?
