3,185 PointsVideocard driver problems?
When I try to run the simulator an error tells me to update my videocard driver to support OpenGL 2.0 It also says failed to initialize backend EGL display.
I checked what videocard i have and I have a "Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family". I checked for driver updates and it told me it was up to date. So...... does that mean I just can't use GenyMotion on this machine or is there any way to update it to support OpenGL 2.0 ?

Your Graphics Card does actually support OpenGL 2.0 however, you will not be able to use it through the Windows Update driver. Instead, download the appropriate driver for your system from here.
Hope it helps :)

3,185 PointsOk it helped......but now it opens and i see the word "android" as the emulator loads. But...it keeps crashing saying player.exe has stopped working.
I only downloaded one of the drivers from the intel website you gave me....... which specifically should it have been?......did I have to get more than one? What is player.exe and why won't it work?
I have a Dell Studio laptop that runs on Windows Vista and it is a 64 bit system
THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!!!
So close to getting it to work!

14,780 PointsThis issue is caused by an outdated driver or old graphics card.
The driver you want for your system is this one here. Install it, restart your computer and if it doesn't work it means that your graphics card is sadly too old to run the Emulator. There is no other way to fix this as, your Graphics Card manufacturer is the company that supplies the drivers so, you would then have to get a new computer or replace the Graphics Card (That's the last thing I want to tell someone though...)
Best of luck!
