VS Editor requirement?

Moving forward, do we need to download the VS editor to continue with the techdegree track? Will it be easier to follow along if I do use it instead of another program?

You do not need to use VSCode, but after having tried a lot of editors, I would say VSCode is my favourite text editor especially if you are doing front-end development.

Awesome, thank you!

I am also a huge fan of JetBrain's WebStorm. The downside is that it is not free and it is not open source, though.
