Watir for Web QA Automation

At my current position I do Dev/QA automation and trying to get my QA team involved in a product that helps us do our jobs more efficiently and effectively. I am the only person on my team with coding/development experience and I want to implement Watir into our processes. I have been using the Ruby workspace environment for a while now and was wondering if there can be gems installed into the ruby environment, such as Watir?

+1! I'm waiting for the same. It's hard to find good and complete tutorials about automation and most of them are made with Java as main language. Would be good a Watir introduction but most of all, the main differences with other gems, such as selenium webdriver for example and also different ways and patterns for automation frameworks. Joshua, I work as freelancer doing test automation, if you need some coder, just tell me. Regards!
