We are supposed to put ul, h1 and p elements inside an element that is for navigation. Why Doesnt this work?

The challenge is looking for you to use a different tag. Semantically, <nav> is supposed to be used for the main grouping of navigation links on a page mdn link - nav

What they're looking for is the header tag discussed in the first video in the section. Here are the header usage notes
