3,982 PointsWeb Design track versus Front End Web Development track
What is the difference between the web design track and the front end web development track?

25,370 PointsThe web design goes over more design principles and goes over the use of Photoshop and Illustrator. They both go over the basics of HTML and CSS but the Front End Web Dev course does more deep dives in the CSS and Javascript areas.
If you want to learn about coding the front end of a website in great detail, go with Front End.
If you want to learn about how color works together, designing logos and the theory behind making a website look good, go with the Design track.
Honestly, I'd suggest going through both tracks if you're looking to get into front end development.

3,982 PointsThank you. I'm definitely working on developing my front end web development skills to be more on a professional level.

25,370 PointsNo problem. Also on the front end track, you'll learn about some of the tools you'll need. Terminal, GIT, etc. It's a really helpful track.

244 PointsI was about to ask the same question. It seems that I want to learn both design principles and the programming of the website. I thought I would go both, first web design, then the fe track. I think I might skip some information on the latter.
