webkit-transitions

Sorry Sir, I Give up. :D

"Using the prefix for WebKit-based browsers, create a transition for the border-radius property of .box. Give the transition a duration of 2 seconds, a delay of 1 second, and a timing function that maintains a linear motion."

I can't seem to find the answer in the video and my best efforts haven't come to fruition. Can anyone tell me the correct answer to this challenge?

.box {
    border-radius: 15px;
    background: #4682B4;
  -webkit-transition-timing-function: all 2s cubic-bezier(0.250, 0.250, 0.750, 0.750) 1s;
 }

.box:hover {
    background: #F08080;
    border-radius: 50%;
}

I think I understand most of the individual properties but putting them into one line I don't seem to understand yet.

Thank you :)

Your using the property for transition-timing-function and adding the values for a full transition. The code below should work.

.box {
  border-radius: 15px;
  background: #4682B4;
  -webkit-transition: border-radius 2s linear 1s;
 }

This is shorthand for transition.

See, I'm sure I tried something like this before but it the engine didn't seem to like it. I presume I put it n the right rule i.e. .box.

Let me try that now.

Bummer! Still no joy. :/

I edited my previous answer to the correct answer having just passed the quiz for you. The question was asking for a linear timing not cubic-bezier like you had.

Yes, got it!

Good to know that at least I wasn't wildly far off in my approach. The cubic brezier was actually the equivalent of a linear timing motion but I guess the challenge wanted the keyword.

Thank you! :-)

Great news! Yes I think the code engine is pretty black & white with what it wants inputting so try not be too flashy :)

Also when commenting on your own post try clicking the add comment link rather than answer. Keeps it tidier :)
