Webpack Bundling

I want to understand why to use bundling, like i created one workspace where main.js depends on add.js and substract.js and I only included main.js in the HTML file, and the output which I got is add.js and substract.js are loaded lazily, after the load of main.js which was expected and good correct? Hmm. I am confused. Please resolve this confustion.
