Hello. I have a domain and hosting bought for a website. I uploaded the website with cyberduk. The problem is that I am getting a fatal error on the line where i create the pdo object.

$database = new PDO("mysql:dbname=myportfolio;host=127.0.0.1", "root", "");

You would need to ensure that the connection information is correct for the hosting environment you are using.

127.0.0.1 is usually your localhost IP address, which works while you are hosting it on your own machine. You would need to consult your host's documentation/support to ensure you are using the correct connection information.
