What am I doing wrong?

./TeacherAssistant.java:4: error: char cannot be dereferenced if (!(fieldName.charAt(0) == 'm' && fieldName.charAt(1) == fieldName.charAt(1).toUpperCase())) { ^ 1 error

TeacherAssistant.java 
public class TeacherAssistant {

  public static String validatedFieldName(String fieldName) {
    if (!(fieldName.charAt(0) == 'm' && fieldName.charAt(1) == fieldName.charAt(1).toUpperCase())) {
    throw new IllegalArgumentException("wrong fieldname");
    }
    return fieldName;
  }

I Found the solution myself on Google, I had to add Character. and put the char between the ().

public class TeacherAssistant {

public static String validatedFieldName(String fieldName) { if (!(fieldName.charAt(0) == 'm' && fieldName.charAt(1) == Character.toUpperCase(fieldName.charAt(1)) && Character.isLetter(fieldName.charAt(1)))){ throw new IllegalArgumentException("wrong fieldname"); } return fieldName; }
