I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here: http://www.screencast.com/t/Hoxs1CUO
I've enclosed both in the <?php ?> tags and echoed $name. What am I missing?

33,990 PointsHi Frank you need to end your echo statement with a semi-colan, like so:
<?php
echo $name; //add semi-colan
?>
Also you don't really need the second set of php tags seeing as it all one php block, you can place your code directly under $name = "Mike";
Hope that helps!!

33,990 PointsTry removing the second set of php tags as I said in my answer earlier, like so:
<?php
$name = "Mike";
echo $name;
?>
This places the code all in the same php block :)
