984 Pointswhat courses to take to build mobile apps
I am currently taking the Ruby on Rails track, but I am now wondering if I am on the wrong track. I need to learn how to build mobile apps for my employer. I have been doing web development since 1998 - HTML, CSS, a little javascript and lots of WordPress and responsive design. But now I need to do a mobile app for Android/iPhone that can be downloaded/installed via secure server for company use only. Any advice on where to start? This is all new to me!

11,940 PointsI'd say you should definitely check out the iOS Development with Obj-C course course, and the Android Development course.
If you're interested in using Swift for iOS Development, there's also a track for that: iOS Development with Swift
Hope that helps!

984 PointsThank you. The refresher on the basics has been great - and there are some new ideas that I hadn't heard of before, so I can't say that I am not learning anything new, but I wanted to make sure I kept my focus and learned what I came here to learn. Much appreciated :)
