What does float: inherit property do with the images?

I was doing the code on the workspace and I saw the option of using inherit when you type float. What does it do?

Matias, If you have set a value for the float property on a parent element, then inherit will mean that the child element will use the same value as the parent.

Inherits are used in lots properties and for some is the default value, font-size for instance is one.
