What I see in the vid vs my Cursor are different in multiple ways. 1 example, page.js (vid) vs page.tsx (cursor). It's also seemingly different in how the panels work within the Cursor UI. It's been 1-2 hours for this 30-minute tutorial, and I'm less than 5 minutes in. Is this video current to today's Cursor?

Treehouse StaffCursor is updated very frequently. Major changes seem to roll out every couple of months, and smaller quality-of-life updates or new model options can appear almost daily. Because of that pace, it’s nearly impossible for us to keep every reference in our materials perfectly up to date.
A recent update introduced two different layout options you can switch between at any time:
Agent Layout: This view focuses on interacting with the AI. You’ll see a dedicated panel for chatting with the agent and another panel where Cursor shows its plans or the code it’s working on. This layout usually doesn’t show your full folder/file tree.
Editor Layout: This is the more traditional IDE-style layout, and it’s much closer to what you see in the video. It shows your file structure and feels like a standard code editor. With the chat panel on the far side (either right or left as you can adjust it's placement in your settings or in the menu of icons in the top right)
You can toggle between these layouts from the top menu, or by opening the Settings menu (the cog icon in the top-right corner). You’re free to switch whenever you want, even in the middle of a work session.
AI tools evolve incredibly fast, which can be challenging to keep up with, but it also means you get access to new helpful features all the time.
