What is a good, affordable desktop computer for programming?

I think I definitely need a new computer and I want one that is fast and reliable. I mainly like to do front-end web development. I do also use python sometimes. I'm still new to programming so I like experimenting with other languages. I live in Canada, if that helps.

I prefer macs when it comes to programming. If you want a new mac they're very expensive in my opinion, but you can find used and refurbished ones online for much cheaper. Also, I prefer a laptop over a desktop so I can code on the go. If you don't want a mac you can always build your own desktop for very cheap. Just be sure to check compatibility.
