what is it wrong here?

It keeps telling me "Make sure you're setting 'font-size' to 26 pixels" when I have already set it to 26 pixels.

Leave out the space between your element and your class only span.title

Hi Luiggi! Your font size property and value are correct! However, you don't have to specify the <span> tag. I did the challenge and it also excepts just the .title element. Hope this helps and happy coding!

You are correct about it working, but since it is nested inside a <span> tag the best practices are to be specific to the span tag and the class to prevent it from becoming a universal class and changing it on the entire page every time you use the class .title. It will not do this in this project, but future projects with multiple pages using same style sheet will. This is only the case for using the same external style link in your html. If you build custom css on all your .html files (for example about.html, contact.html etc) then this rule does not apply and you only have to be specific to the class, because you will probably not use it again.
