What is the best local file structure to store dev projects as a developer?

So I am trying to establish the best file structure for storing my web dev projects, whether they be for clients, random projects or whatever. So here is what i currently have in my root user folder on my mac.

Projects (main folder)
  * _Archive (old projects)
  * GitHub (stores live github repos)
  * Playground (random stuff, testing, etc)
  * SVN (subversion directory for publishing wordpress ONLY repos to wordpress.org. I dont know if i should put this in something else like WordPress or WordPressOrg, or if i should put both GitHub and WordPressOrg inside a "PublishedRepos" Folder)

Does anyone have any opinions/thoughts/preferences on this?
