PHP PHP Basics Getting to Know PHP PHP Comments

What is the purpose of the text "done" after the 2 backslashes

I noticed Alena puts the word "done after every 2 double slashes. Is that part of the standard way to add a comment in php?

I don't think it has any meaning other than to serve as a sample comment.

Ok thank you.

The double slashes as explained in the video represent a single-line comment. The word 'done' is the content of the comment.
